Last year Africa had 21 billionaires and this year Africa has 23 with a combined total of $75.4 billion dollars. This is R956 065 460 000
So, here is a list of what I found to be the top 10 richest people in Africa.


10. Isabel dos Santos - Born 20 April 1973

Isabel dos Santos is an Angolan businesswoman, Africa's richest woman and the eldest child of Angola's former President José Eduardo dos Santos, who ruled the country from 1979 to 2017. In 2013, according to research by Forbes, her net worth had reached more than three billion US dollars, making her Africa's first billionaire woman.

Dangote is looking beyond cement - his most valuable asset - and has been investing in a fertilizer production company and a large oil refinery. Dangote Fertilizer is expected to start operations in the second quarter this year.
